The textile industry in China employs large manpower  and is the largest exporter. The industry serves the worldwide markets for Knitwear, Apparel, Interiors and Advanced Flexible Materials (formerly Technical Textiles). The industry has been in seen immense growth for last decade, as measured by any index of turnover, profitability and employment.
