Growth and Membership: CODISSIA (Coimbatore District Small Industries Association) is an ISO 9001:2008 organization founded in 1969, growing from 40 members to over 6,600 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

Core Mission: Its primary charter is to foster the development of healthy, powerful, and quality SMEs through sustained effort and continuous policy review.

Development & Awareness: It functions as a development-oriented association, offering a range of activities like Seminars, Training Programs, Exhibitions, and Industrial Trade Fairs to develop and educate entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurial Support: CODISSIA actively assists new entrepreneurs with product identification, project report preparation, securing financial assistance, and obtaining necessary licenses.

Global Platform: It owns and operates a world-class Trade Fair Centre that provides a vital platform for small industries to go international and earn foreign exchange.

International Collaboration: CODISSIA holds a unique status as the only District Level Association in India to have signed an MOU with Germany's VDMA (Plant and Machinery Manufacturers Association) to promote joint ventures and technology transfers.

About INTEC 2026

Organizer & History: INTEC (1988 - 2026) is organized by CODISSIA and is an ITPO-approved Trade Fair supported by Central and State Governments.

Edition & Dates: The 21st Edition of INTEC is scheduled from 4th to 8th of June 2026.

Concurrent Events: It will feature two concurrent expos: Toolex 2026 and the Industrial Automation Expo 2026.

Scale of Participation (2024): The 20th Edition (2024) had over 650 exhibitors, 1,100 booths, and participation (2024) from 24 countries.

Expected Scale (2026): More than 860 Companies are expected to participate in INTEC 2026.

Visitor Footfall: INTEC 2024 registered over 3.75 lakhs (375,000) business and public visitors.

Trade Turnover: The 20th Edition of INTEC 2024 generated a significant trade turnover in excess of Rs. 3000 million (300 Crores) in all its past editions.
