The Coimbatore District Small Industries Association - CODISSIA began its humble journey with 38 members in the year 1969 and has grown up by embracing a good value system, seeking high aspirations and achieving more than an Industrial Associations ever thought it was possible.

CODISSIA with a mission to build up healthy, powerful and quality SME’s through sustained efforts, firm commitment & with an objective to promote and protect the Small Industries is a shining example of the success in transforming the Industrial Scenario of this region.

CODISSIA in its impressive & vibrant journey of 50 Years (1969 - 2019 ) has evolved to be the "Single Largest MSME Association in the Globe" by strengthening its membership base to 6604. And also to its credit the membership representation is from across all the manufacturing sectors.

CODISSIA an ISO 9001:2015 organization,which works for the Industrial development, economic growth and prosperity of this region has been charted as a Advisory member to National Board for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (NB - MSME). CODISSIA also holds membership in various Advisory & Consultative Committees of Central & State Government Departments.

CODISSIA is awarded with Certificate of Accreditation by National Accreditation Board for Education and Training - Quality Council of India (QCI). It's also the Winner of Responsible Indian BMOs Award for “Scaling Up Sustainable Development of MSME Clusters of India”.

In a span of 50 years CODISSIA has attained many laurels to highlight a few :

CODISSIA in the near future is also planning to excute a skill development centre to impart skill to unskilled labours & a convention centre for permanent display of the products manufactured by MSMEs of this Region.
